After retiring from his position as Senior Manager of Recreation Services, Ray remained heavily involved in local organizations and in 2016 was successful in winning the by-election for the Ward 2 seat at Council. Ray has never stopped working for his community and is a strong advocate at Council. His municipal background has been a great asset; he hit the road running and was successful in moving issues to the top of the agenda that directly impacted Ward 2.
