There isn’t a better person to join Town Council. Ray understands the Town and he knows how to get things done. He is always insightful and knowledgeable and has always worked hard for the interests of the residents of this town. Voting for Ray to join Cathy Duddeck representing Ward 2 is the smartest move we could make.

Ray Chisholm is the candidate who knows, loves and has worked within Oakville- past, present and will in the future.  At Council, his past experience working for the Town of Oakville would be a huge asset for his constituents.  In addition, his long-term residency in the Ward 2 neighborhood, while raising his family within the community, would bring a valuable perspective on the present challenges and opportunities for all families.  Ward 2 is fortunate to have such a valuable candidate!

Ray and I go back a long way- but that’s no reason for someone to vote for him. They should vote for him because they value the same things that I value- integrity and commitment. Those are two qualities that I think a Councillor should absolutely have!

I have known Ray for years. On the ice or off, he’s a heavy hitter and a straight shooter.

I worked with Ray for a number of years when he was the Executive Director of CommUnity Arts Space and the Oakville Arts Council. Ray was the perfect hire because of his unique understanding of the Town of Oakville as well as his strong relationship with many of our Town Councillors. Ray is a strategic thinker and a consensus builder- two traits that I believe are very important in today’s municipal government.

We need a Councillor who will listen, hear and act on our behalf. Chisholm is the right person to represent Ward 2. Chisholm has a strong work ethic, he is a visionary, knows what needs to be done and will do it, fully representing what is best for Ward 2. As a long term resident of Oakville, I support Chisholm 100%

The Pangman Family’s relationship with Ray takes us back to the mid 80’s when he was employed with the Town of Oakville. Always ready to serve as a bureaucrat, always willing to embrace recreation, culture and the arts, with this new adventure into politics he brings many strengths; experience, volunteer board involvement and collaborative attitude that seeks successful outcomes.
